Josette Duran lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she has a son called Dylan. They’re a regular family for sure, but one school term back in 2016, 14-year-old Dylan started to do something that really puzzled Josette. Every day before school as his mom made him a packed lunch he would ask for two meals.
It’s hardly unusual for growing kids to have appetites that astonish, but two lunches every day? That, thought Josette, just seemed a little bit weird. So eventually she asked him what was going on. Dylan came clean and the story he told Josette gave her goosebumps. Her son, it seemed, was a true Good Samaritan.
